So today I visited my internet people and its true what Richard Branson says, "doing well in business is about surrounding yourself with people that are good at doings things you aren't...." or something to that effect and I couldn't agree more.

I am seriously handicapped when it comes to understand all things "technical" and the "terminology" pertaining to the internet and its set up and SEO's and SEM's but I am learning fast and it is awesome just how clever and progressive the internet is.  Phew!!!!!!!!

I recall learning DOS systems at school and it all seemed so complicated back then, hence me not pursuing computers, other than what I needed to know.

However, I need to know and learn a lot more and that is exactly what I am doing. My brain is quivering with anticipation.

So, there it is, USAKit.  My company is evolving and I'm excited at its prospects.

A crucial part of any business set up is understanding the costs...because there are lots initially and while its all worth it, it isn't my strength so I am leaning on my numbers people to help me get this right!

I'm working through the ever growing list of things to do and it seems that each job done creates another.....really!!!!!!????

I woke up this morning and opened my emails to find there was another email I was anxious to receive and with it came the news I was hoping for so really there is nothing stopping all this coming together, only thing left to do is meet and check off with the accountant and get the website up and running.

As I write this I'm sitting in the car in front of the Art Gallery of NSW, waiting for husband who is at the Land Titles Office.

New title documents lodged, new business progressing, really the heading says it all.

A day of Highs

Its been a great day today.

First I got an email that I was waiting for and it was the good news I was hoping for then I had a meeting was the lovely Nancy from The Jewellery Room whom together, we have big plans.

Its me again

Again, another year has passed and it has been very quiet around all things "Girl on Earl".

We finished the renovation...the biggest thing I have ever battled.  It was long and exhausting but we made it and we made it together.  It was tough in so many ways but we did it.

I have learnt so much about myself over the last 4 years, the main things being my patience and perseverance.  I have truly surprised myself and I'm proud of myself...I'm proud of my husband and everything he accomplished and I'm heart warningly proud of my kids to not only have managed to miss all the hassle but to grow into delightful, individually talented young people!

If I do nothing more with my life I would be happy, satisfied that I am a strong solid woman capable of enduring life's blows, but at the same time, if I did do nothing more I would be disappointed that I didn't put all that experience into something.  To show my kids that we can all grow through the adversities that we face.  What a wonderful lesson we can all learn and grow from...I'm still learning and I'm loving more than I ever.  Life is exciting and I can't wait to see where the next 12 months takes me.

I'd like to take you all with me, so read along if you wish, I'll be happy to know you are there.

Slow and Steady

Not something I'm particularly good at but with careful and considered determination I'm working through the list to get to the desired goal.

did everyone have a lovely little break from the Girl ???

Its been way too long but a necessary hiatus.

My beloved and I have been through so much; my kids are both asthmatics; I've been studying; working; a family member is divorcing me; but through it all my dear sweet girlfriends, my husband (and somewhat) my kids have keep me sane and my feet firmly planted on the ground.

I have had to stay focussed even when I have wanted I go completely troppo. 

I feel like I have compromised so much that I'm left gagging on the side effects of it all but I'm not one to ponder, that much I have learnt about myself. 

2013 for me is about one thing, finish the renovation!!!!!  Only then do I feel I can move forward and towards where my dreams and heart are.

We are close so either way I'll be back, I have a plan and a new motivation that can only be compared to...mmm dare I say Richard Branson, how I would love him as my mentor/life coach...a Girl can never have too much moral support:)
